Title
World Bank - SWIO-RAFI Profils de risque Rapport
Abstract
This report serves as a summary of the risk results and the methodology used to develop risk profiles for tropical cyclone (wind, precipitation flooding, and storm surge), non-tropical cyclone induced precipitation flooding, and earthquake ground shaking in the SWIO region. To estimate monetary losses in each island nation, simulations of 10,000 years of potential tropical cyclones and their associated coastal and precipitation induced flooding, non-tropical cyclone precipitation and earthquake activity have been carried out. Risk results are presented at a national level and for the first level administrative regions.
